This is so easy now, I think I'm really getting the hang of it now.

There's a rustling sound behind him. He turns around and sees Saisai edging her way to him. Her arms are behind her back and she seems nervous about something.

"Hey Artemis.."

"Oh, hey Saisai. What's up?"

"Nothing... Just uh... Wondering how things were going with you. How's everything with Morgan?"

"Uhm... Kinda quiet lately. We've both been working hard so we haven't seen each other much."

Her question does bring up a point though, why haven't you and Morgan done... well, anything? If things are cooling off between you two or just not going anywhere, it would be kinda dickish to keep shutting her down. Not saying to do an about face in your choice in relationships but if you can't even get closer to your girlfriend you are just failing at this building relationships thing. Ombra and us are disappointed, and your dad would be too!

Anyways, have you tried mixing up elemental and soul magic? Use them at the same time? Mana in your soul blades or soul empowered spells? At least try to use a shield spell backed by a soul shield? Play around with it.

Artemis, Saisai just rewound time again. Twice. The first time was because you wanted to bring Morgan along on the healing mission. The second time was because you wanted to bring Caius along. You should confront her about this, or at the very least comment on the frequent bouts of deja vu around her to let her know you're onto her, but don't tell her our memory exists outside of time, and start watching for feelings of deja vu around her.

Anyway the hearts and the slimes aren't really that acidic. I can grab one and hold it for a while without being burned, they mostly just eat moss.

After a while a Box Slime moves up to them. It makes a little gurgling sound.

I suspect that Saisai is getting more agitated each time she feels like she has to rewind time and fix things. That would be why she's being so brutal here; she's working off the frustration of the fact that you keep not doing exactly what she wants you to do, even though she feels like she should be able to make everything perfect with her new trick.

It's probably not healthy. That said, I'm not sure if pointing it out would actually get her to open up to you more, or if it would just make her inclined to run away from her problem in embarrassment. It might be better to just keep talking to her and finish the mission.

Relax a little people. So far she is not being malicious. And at some point you could just point out that you are aware of what she has been doing if it goes too far.

Saisai has recently learned a spell to rewind time, but our memory exists outside the normal flow of time so we remember everything that happened while you get a sense of deja vu. She's been abusing this to do things like see how open you are to the idea of soul binding with her (which you already know about), go on a mission alone with her, and see how you feel about her hanging out with a nice dark elf named Caius. Don't let her know that our memory survives the rewind, and start watching for deja vu around her.

I actually considered that scenario. Also her killing Morgan out of jealousy and then undoing it just for the satisfaction of having her out of the way, even for a moment. Try to get a few more intimate moments with Morgan in, just to see if she's going to spy on you and try keeping you from having those.

Agreeing with MrTT here. We do need to do something, though, which is why I suggested talking to her instructor and having him talk to her about it as an option. I'm sure at least some light elves go through this phase as well, but since they don't have a nigh-unlimited number of time points at their disposal they can only do it so much and are then forced to quit. The only other option I can think of is to confront her if she crosses a line, because while what she's doing now is childish she doesn't have any real reason not to do it as long as she thinks she's the only one who's sent back.

1. She does have a reason not to do it even if she thinks noone will ever find out. Her morality. Many people don't do things every day they are sure they could get away with just because they believe it to be the wrong thing to do.
2. There are several people here saying she will use up time points. I am pretty sure casting time magic does not cause the destruction of time points. Time points are more like your level then your mana, you must be a certain level to cast certain spells, and the power of your spells is determined by your time points, but you do not actually use them up by casting. Please correct me if I am wrong on this.

Whoa there, yes she did finally cross a line. But not a terrible one (its not like she hurt someone).

Also its possible that she didn't plan it as a method to steal a kiss via rewind abuse. maybe it was a spur of the moment thing which she then figured out was a bad idea, maybe its because of how clumsy the kiss was.

That all being said, don't completely freak out here, but something does need to be done.

At first glance I like this plan... except that might be misinterpreted and I am quite sure she will take it the wrong way. Also the grabbing is getting too physical, bordering on the violent.

I would chase her and call out to her to get her attention. You can either immediately tell her you know, or you could walk and talk with her and speak in hypothetical that gets her to think.

If the former, I suggest starting with a question: "Why did you choose to rewind the kiss?"
If the latter then we need to phrase things carefully for a longer conversation. Say that you have been thinking about time magic and its implication and are interested in discussing with her what her teacher had to say about it.

While I would prefer the latter i am honestly not sure we are up for such careful verbal-fu.

oh and if she agrees then tell her thanks and give her a quick hug to SHOW you aren't mad at her. just SAYING you aren't mad wont work.
